The Taste of East Anglia Food & Drink Festival is a fantastic one day family event celebrating and championing the very best food & drink that we are so lucky to have in East Anglia.
Held on a beautiful paddock in the grounds of Kentwell Hall in Long Melford, this delicious Food Festival showcases almost 100 top quality, local, food & drink stalls selling a huge range of artisan products from freshly baked sourdoughs to locally made sausages, old fashioned Suffolk cider to Mersea Island Oysters and sticky chocolate brownies to amazing local honey plus a number of local vineyards will showcase the best East Anglian wine producers.
The Street Food selection is always mouthwatering and includes the very best buttermilk chicken burgers, wood fired pizza, pulled pork baguettes, NYC style hot stuffed bagels, loaded fries, fresh sushi, gourmet burgers, amazing paella and delicious Indian street food and four bars will be serving craft ales, lager, prosecco and summer cocktails.
Free cooking demos will run all day in our Main Kitchen Theatre shining a spotlight on Suffolk's very best chefs who will all be creating delicious dishes, sharing their top tips and letting you taste their wonderful creations. All demos are free to attend, and visitors can come and go as they please and, following amazing feedback from last year, our BBQ Zone will be even better in 2026 with real chefs cooking on flames throughout the day using some of the local area's very best meat cuts and the best ceramic grills and equipment.
For those who want a break from food to enjoy a spot of Retail Therapy, we'll have a wonderful selection of non food stalls selling a range of products including beautiful handmade candles, chunky pottery and kitchenware, wooden chopping boards, a range of stunning ladies clothes and an incredible selection of fresh herbs and beautiful, locally grown plants.
The Kids Tent offers free children's activities throughout the day and we have stalls for the dogs - well behaved dogs, on a lead are welcome.
